INSTRUCTIONS
TASKS
For our first task, we were assigned with a task to create an e-commerce app using a new software Adobe Animate. The app itself must include checkout and payment. For the first couple of weeks we were tutored on how to use and navigate through Animate.
Animate, other than animating (duh), could be used for scripting and automate things.
The app must be in a phone dimension too.
Screenshots of exercises from tutorials
Firstly, we were introduced to different alternatives of animating, there are such things as buttons and graphics which could be animated in a different way.

Being taught all of those, we then started with the app. Firstly, I arranged my assets in photoshop. I took assets from an actual glasses store. I retrace the assets in AI and imported to photoshop, arrange them in a way so I can import them into animate.

Afterwards, I publish the site and recorded the walkthrough of the app. Final Product can be seen here.
REFLECTION
Working on this was sort of frustrating. At first I did not understand how to write scripts nor how to navigate through the app well, my goal was just to create something that looks decent and submit it. However when working on the photoshop file, I had fun, reminds me that this would be a lot easier and faster if I work in figma, with more screens too possibly. Nevertheless I tried to create as the best as i could and finish it in time. For some reason the deadline was pushed back a couple of times, this too, frustrates me a little bit but it gave me more time to work on it.
