WEEK 5 - Practical
TUTORIAL
During this lesson, we were assigned to do a digital imaging and photo
editing using Photoshop. We were assigned to put Shazam in the Hearst
Mansion photograph. The tutorial was provided in YouTube by Mr. Martin and
we would only need to follow it. After making the Shazam edit, we are also
assigned to photograph ourselves and also put it in the Hearst Mansion
photograph.
TASK
Following the tutorial video, I could quickly make the Shazam edit
without much hassle. I pretty much followed what Mr. Martin has shown us
in the video and created this photo edit.

The next day, I took a photograph of myself to be put into Hearst Mansion. It took a couple of tries with my camera since the lighting is not great for the whole day (it was raining and dark since the morning).
Thankfully I have a rather empty wall in which I could take the photo
well without too much shadow or background clutters.

Following that, I imported the picture into photoshop and proceed to use
the Quick Selection Tool (a very handy tool) to delete the background.
Then, I continued using the same techniques Mr. Martin showed to edit the
picture.
