For this week's tutorial, I have chosen 3 motion graphics I have found on YouTube and internet.

This piece of motion graphics was used as an ad for McDonalds in Singapore. I personally like it as it shows a very simplistic look and has every essence of graphics in motion. I also learnt that even ads use motion graphics as it shows a very clear and fun way of promoting a product. In this case this ad was used to showcase a new application or the company. I also realized that by using motion graphics you are able to deliver message or information in a concise and easy to understand manner.
The next piece of motion graphics is an informational video about the history of coffee. It is presented in a way that is brief, yet contains a lot of information. The good thing I notice about this piece of project is that the illustration used and assets are constantly recycled; meaning it is being used again and again, yet it is still very interesting and receive information visually accompanied by very smooth transitions. The other thing I notice too is that this video never stops moving since the first second to the last second. I personally think that is a hard thing to do and is executed greatly here.

In this last piece of motion graphics, it is an instructional video regarding how to create a smoothie bowl. It is simple, yet playful. It is straightforward, yet still interesting to watch. It involves unexpected creative elements when playing with the typography. The typography catches my eye a lot. Creator mentioned that it is their first motion graphics but I think it looks amazing and does not look like a beginner's work at all.
