INSTRUCTIONS

TASK

On our first big project, we were to create a static landing page, meaning we were to create an idea on illustrator/photoshop on how the page will look like. 

Before that, we were asked to choose a topic. I chose a topic regarding the serums of The Ordinary, a skincare brand. I will only be focusing on the serums, and use the page only as a microsite (focusing on an item instead of a whole online shopping site for the brand). 

Afterwards, I started with sketches. 

Sir Shamsul then asked which one I liked best, then moved to AI.

After feedback and getting approved by Sir Shamsul, I immediately tried with several color palettes in Illustrator. With that, I send out my proposal, composing the initial idea of the landing page.

REFLECTION

This part of the project is fun, and it felt like it could be limitless. Sketching the 5 wireframes were a pain though and now I felt like I should've done better by researching more landing page designs on pinterest and behance. I went through a handful of them yet I still feel like it's a bit lacking. I tried several color palette and the green one I think matches the best.
